I was reading an article that someone posted from MSNBC and at the top of the page there was an ad that said"

"Net Neutrality. For a Faster Internet."

and the bottom of the ad was the Comcast Logo.

Thoughts?

RE: GTS
Everything that Comcast, Time Warner, AT&T, and Verizon do is not in the interest of "net neutrality." Just as when they got state legislatures to ban municipality built high speed internet in the interest of "better internet for all". It's a load of crap and anyone who works in any kind of internet company outside of those companies know it.

I just went to the site, don't see the ad (you probably searched on network neutrality recently thus are getting the ad served to you due to that). When did MSNBC redo their site? Looks totally different than the last time I was there (couldn't tell you how long ago that was).

I'm sure it was ad re targeting. I would have never gone there had it not been linked. It's still full of hard to navigate text and too many silly tabs.

I certainly didn't think the layout looked overly friendly. I like Drudge's simple layout to see the headline and decide whether to click.

Sometimes less is better. When I design stuff, I always try to keep it attractive, yet simple and easy to read.
