So, I accidentally moved this to the spin room, but it was a lot of spin anyway.

Sorry.

I'm going to tip you guys off to something.

CMU sends their play calls in with a series of fathead sized pictures, much like you see other programs do. I have figured out the play signals and will pass them on to you..

These pictures indicate the called offense

1. A picture of O.J. means, Rawls on a delayed option

2. A picture of Andy Dufrain means, Rawls on a sweep

3. A picture of John Dillinger means, Rawls up the middle.

4. A picture of Lee Harvey Oswald means, Rawls gets the snap out of the shotgun.

5. A picture of the Hindenburg means, don't throw it, just give it to Rawls so we avoid disaster.

6. A picture of an A Bomb exploding means, the games a blowout, let's save Rawls, get the ball to Lavalli and let him take the punishment.

I may be the only one agreeing with ChipDip here, but what CMU is doing is nothing but pure bulldip. I can't imagine the disappointment I would have if Toledo did the same thing for a player that went to Hollywood casino and ripped off the credit cards of someone I knew, used them, was caught and convicted - then got to play football. This would not be a guy in the Toledo program for 5 years, but some dude who wanted one more chance to get some athletic glory. I have to wonder if he is even going to class - but he wouldn't be suspended for that until January.

My experience at CMU - and even in our own stadium - is that they have some of the worst student fans I've ever seen. A bunch of loud mouths in a group - and chicken $hits when they are by themselves.

Well, sorry to disappoint you chipdip2. I was all primed to holler some of your 1 liners to their bench all night. But, alas, it so happened that there were about 10 people wearing shirts with "Rawls" on back right down about 5 rows in front of me. I got a few subtle zingers out there, but you have to pick your battles, and that was one I knew if I started I could not win....or outrun. Those custom shirts looked expensive. But, heck, the charge won't come through on the old lady's Visa statement for 30 days, so why not live the high life with a maroon shirt that says Rawls on the back? It doesn't get any better than that.

Yes the dude was there. He carried, and ran it like he stole it. In the 3rd quarter he got himself a 3 yard TD run and came back to the bench so excited you'd think he found out the court house burned down. On the night he carried 17 times averaging 3.8 ypc--against our defense ( snicker...). Enos might have been smarter to suit up the old lady.
