Paul Thomas is a 4* according to ESPN, out of Houston. He is the #17 rated power forward in the country. Got this from his twitter.

I have made my college decision and UTEP will be where i will continue my Basketball career. This is only the beginning .#Miners

While this is excellent news, I will hold back a little until he signs, qualifies and is attending classes next fall. He did have offers from Memphis, Houston, WKU, Temple, Tulsa and Texas Tech.

Exactly. When he starts school, then is when I'll be happy about this.

Any start is a good start. But I'm with you guys.

Saw a clip on him. Not much of an above the rim player. But he handles and drives to the hoop really well for a tall guy.

As a junior Thomas averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds. Here is a clip of him.

You know, when a schools recruiting, attendance, and general program performance holds regardless of team/conference affiliations, it makes folks in El Paso proud to be Miner fans.

We are who we are. Our identity comes from within, and not from influences or factors we do not control......

Great stuff.....

Here's hoping you bring some ranked teams to Diddle. That would be quite exciting. 04-cheers
