ECU would participate, as long as we get UNC-Charlotte or UAB. ECU can't handle any of CUSA's other teams, but Charlotte and UAB look a lot like those DII and DIII teams that ECU regularly clean up on.

lol. well played. The W/L record speaks otherwise though. Serioulsy though, good luck in the AAC.

You know your team suck when you can only play certain schools even though said schools have whipped your ass more times than not.....03-lol
Like UAB vs Memphis? It was fun being your everything as far as your season went.

Memphis was good, but we all know the reason why.

LOL

Call me when the AAC gets multiple bids on the regular. This isn't the Big East anymore Todo.

03-lmfao

2014: UConn, Louisville, Cincy, Memphis in the NCAAs...SMU in the NIT

If I had to guess about 2015:

UConn - NCAA
SMU - NCAA
Memphis - NCAA
Cincy - NCAA
Tulsa - NIT
Temple - NIT/CBI
Houston
UCF
ECU
USF
Tulane

I know you AAC guys are slow. So I'll break it down for you.

Everyone knew the Big East was over rated. Most of their teams would lose on Day 1 of the tourney. Overall, it was still a good conference. Over half of the AAC sucks. Your bad teams will drag you down. You will be laughed at because of your weak conference schedule. If you perform OOC like you have in Football, you will quickly become a one bid league. Three bids in year 1, maybe. 4 bids, LOL. It's all down hill from here. Those other teams will not become good any time soon.

03-shhhh last year was "year one" for the AAC...

Spew all the vitriol you like...UConn, SMU, Memphis, and either Cincy or Tulsa will make the NCAAs (the one that doesn't goes to the NIT)

I'm not even worried about that.

Actually no because UAB would love to play Memphis regardless of how one-sided the series has been. But if UAB never played Memphis against I wouldn't shed one damn tear. 04-cheers

FWIW, I advocate a home and home with UAB. It could be dubbed the Bartow Classic with part of the proceeds going to cancer research.

play it in Tupelo (half way between the two) at BanCorpSouth Arena (where we played LSU)...split the tickets down the middle.

but I'd vote no to a home-home.

We should be doing that regardless of conference affiliation.

The AAC is not doing a challenge with anyone. The only thing I heard was that the AAC schools were instructed to upgrade their OOC---but there was no real attempt to put together a challenge with anyone.

So, you should be very happy that all those gawd awful teams from that crappy one bid AAC are not messing up any CUSA RPI's.

We don't have room...we have to play 18 home games at FEF...9 AAC games...9 OOC games...that gives us very little wiggle room which is normally reserved for teams like Miss, Tenn, Gonzaga, etc.

Exactly...That's what you get when you can't do home-home series with teams...buy game$ like the ones you listed above.

Oh, and just an FYI Stephen F Austin won 32 games and made the NCAA tourney...I'm glad we scheduled them...solid mid-major buy game.

Not exactly. According to 247 UTEP has the #53 rated class for 2015. Only Memphis (14), UCon (18) and Cincy (41) have higher rated classes at this point.
