I think we all have an evil "big brother" like that. Ours is Tenersee. And Missississippippi to a lesser extent (aka definitely no where near a blue blood).

Exactly, that's what makes their smack talk even worse. IT's like one of the Memphis fans said on here, "NCSU is kind of like the Miss State of the ACC only less accomplished."

The best part of that was when whoever wrote that mess tried to claim that Cleveland and Columbus weren't laughably bad cities. Good one, buddy, good one. Try getting out of Ohio sometime. There is a whole world out there.

Can we talk about that Cincy "response," though? That was one of the saddest, most butthurt blog posts I've ever read - an accomplishment, given that blogs basically exist for the sole purpose of being sad and butthurt. It was basically a really long way of saying "don't make fun of us! That's mean! We don't make fun of you! *snivel**whimper*"

Yeah, the UC response was lame and poorly-written, though I did like the one calling O$U the overfed, obnoxious sister who sold herself to get a tramp stamp.

That was some good stuff.

In the 1990s Ohio University filed for a copyright of their name "Ohio" for product licensing purposes. Ohio State sued Ohio, claiming that they were the rightful owners of the name Ohio. Imagine the balls it takes to claim that you own the name of another school, and one that is 65 years older. OSU's claim, in a state with 7 other FBS teams, was that OSU should own the name Ohio because they represent the whole state of Ohio, not just one school. The balls.
