RE: NBR- Crab Legs, Jimbo?
Not to absolve anyone on the BoT for their criminal meddling, but as of 11:49am, CDT the 24th day of September, 2014, anno domini, I'm glad Jimbo Fisher is not our coach.

Me too. He also needs to cut off that patch of hair he has in front.

I'm surprised the rape case being swept under the rug last season didn't make you guys feel this way.
Seems like Fisher would have just continued allowing players to do whatever they wanted just like what Watson Brown was apparently doing.

Agreed!
I think if we had hired him, he probably would have left after year 1. I believe he turned downed several offers during that time frame as the HC in waiting at FSU.
I feel like he would have taken the WVA job. But then again it may not have been offered if he had gone 4-8 at UAB.

I think the Jameis case was reprehensible on both FSU and the local police's part. It was, however, nothing to do with us.

For me, it has less to do with that and more to to with the kind of program he runs (or doesn't).

Speaking of the case, did you guys see what TMZ released today?

Hahaha, like anyone believes that kid has 7 million.
Edit: I see she included FSU in the settlement request. Now it makes sense. Really though, why settle? The damage has already been done in the court of public opinion.

I dunno, he was looking pretty damned good during the pre-BC two coach dark ages we just endured. Lets never forget lest we ever repeat such a time as that when we ate of the uncooked rat in the wilderness of our discontent.
Oh, and the AD goes at the front of the date. Sorry, am a bit of a national socialist about history.

You think he won't be worth $7m in a year? Not to mention both FSU and the city?

Putting AD after instead of before is not a history error. It's the wrong way to write it but it's not a history error

So anyway, I probably wouldn't have said so last year, but this is this year.
Mainly because I didn't pay enough attention to Free Shoes to know anything about what they were up to beyond raising the sparkly football.

Well, you're supposed to learn it in history class. Eighth grade in fact. World History, if we are being all pedantic about it.

Yeah, I'm pretty tickled about BC too. I'm so happy about our coaching situation right now...
We so deserved this for all the crap we've had to put up with over the years. Our karma account should have enough in it right about now for us to retire in bowl games for the next 100 years.

I'd settle for the ball bouncing our way enough to have a winning season.
