“She was told by one of the library attendants that the library has been instructed to remove all books with a Christian message, authored by Christians, or published by a Christian publishing company,” read a letter PJI sent to the public charter school. “The attendant advised that the library would no longer be carrying those books. Indeed, our client was told that the library was giving those books away, and she actually took some.”

Students need to protest. That seems to be getting attention in CO.

Torch, did this not at all stand out to you as almost certainly a drastic exaggeration?

School officials can be so incredibly dumb. By seeking to be politically correct and be Constitutional....they practiced government censorship of books based solely on religious content...a no no.

Part of the judgment should be mandatory Constitution classes.

Did the school guard who told a parent he couldn't wear his military uniform into the building seem like a drastic exaggeration? Yes. But it turned out to be true.

I have encountered many dogmatic SJBs, and this frankly seems like their typical MO. That's my experience anyway.

Guess the California schools system will approve something like a Muslim guide to Behead Your Infidel neighbors or Witchcraft: Eat Your Lovers Heart. Californians that are upset with the Socialist Democrat Party need to move out of that state and stop giving Them Your hard earned tax money before it Sinks .

I think a lot of balance would be restored to this country if we just let California leave the Union and show us just how awesome they'd be on their own.

I don't know how this could happen. Temecula is in Conservative country and is home to Darrel Issa. But let's keep that gay agenda in California schools alive and well fed.

I am always skeptical when advocacy organizations do not provide links to the actual letters on their websites. Compare the websites of the Pacific Justice Institute and the Foundation for individual Rights in Higher Education. PJI chooses a few select quotes for their press release while FIRE provides access to the actual source material itself.
