I for one am tired of the talk that teams we beat are deflated to lose to us as if we are a pushover. Fau can compete in cusa and it is time for people to recognize it. They should be 3 and 2 now. None of these conference teams are way above them

Heck they have blown more games they should have won and people ignore that mtsu rice and Marshall were let off the hook last year by us

Still a huge shame to lose to Wyoming. If we end up 6-6 we could be regretting it even more later

What a great game and an unbelievable finish. We really needed that one after we gave away that Wyoming game last week. Can't wait for the Shula Bowl game this Thursday...GO OWLS!

BTW, best of luck to UTSA the rest of the season. You guys have done an impressive job with your program in such a short amount of time.

I didnt realize until tonight that UTEP was in our conference!

The Sun is shinning a bit brighter this morning.

Thanks to all the UTSA fans that made the trip and are wishing us a good game. The fans that took the trip were loud and proud, one of the largest and loudest away sections in stadium history. UTSA and FAU are VERY similar institutionally and athletically despite plenty of facets. UTSA is probably my second favorite UTSA team going forward. Agree. For the 1st time in a long while the Shula bowl has real meaning for both teams in terms of conference and possible post-season play. Should be a doozy.

Agree! Though we, at FIU, don't think or should not be thinking are ready for any post season play, though a chance is always there. Our fans need to remember where we are coming from (1-11 last season and 3-9 the previous one) our immediate history. But, we (FIU and FAU) have a chance to start 2-0 in conference play and raise our records to .500 besides the obvious bragging rights attached to the game.

Can't wait!
