Unlikely he took an contact at those practices. The boot is a good idea - helps prevent accidentally rolling it. Easy to do just by stepping on a small rock or a crack in the pavement. been there, done that...

Our running game is very strong and is probably the best position on the team. It's good to have depth when a guy like Hunt goes down with nagging injuries.

Just saw a segment on Fox Sports talking about Ameer Abdullah of Nebraska. Listed the players with most consecutive 100 yard games from scrimmage. Coming in at #2 was Kareem Hunt with 10. The picture they showed of him made him look like a beast - nice jacket and tie and the look of someone who is in the Heisman Hunt - hey, nice accidental play on words for the future....
