The Larry Porter years had to have been close to some kind of record.

Too early to read anythign into those numbers. Especially since 63 of the +75 difference was in a single game

I'd say it's too early to make a final evaluation, but it's definitely trending in the right direction.

Trending is correct. In past year we most likely would not have seen the 63-0 score with APSU or played UCLA so close. But remember when we beat USC in their place it looked so good then but lost a lot of it's luster at the end of the year due to an under performing USC team that year. I want to see those number at mid season after these next two road games and Houston at home. If we can retain half of that differential then we have indeed made noticeable improvement. If we at worst come out of Houston game 3-3 Or even better 4-2 then it will mark a noticeable improvement. Even better if we can go into the Halloween game with bowl eligibility on the line. That would be much better. It would mean holding serve at home and winning 2 or the 3 road games. Ole Miss, Cincinnati and SMU.
