No one else deserved consideration. If the best you can do is average 12 ypc against one of the top ranked run defenses in the nation you shouldn't expect awards. 150 yards in a half? Meh.

As far as the Offensive POW, I just see this as the MAC award chiefs acknowledging that any "recognition" they could provide would be beneath the player.

Exactly. It is the MAC. The list of RB's who average over 10 ypc is long and distinguished.

I forecast in My View that Corey Jones would have trouble handling a ruby-style punt against Ball State. He did bobble and fumble it but recovered and had a big return to his credit. Glad I didn't get too much into his mind. ;-)

Ball State totally outkicked its coverage on that play and it allowed Corey lots of space to do his thing. That's easily where he's most dangerous. He's so small, I don't really see him running through many crowds.
