I really want that 7pm time slot. Shocked that the American was put on the six day hold.

I'm assuming the "late saturday night " announcement means after the OSU game. We win...we are on at noon on ESPNU , we lose we are 7pm on CBSSN

7pm is a good time . You have to start drinking before 10am for those noon games . 03-lmfao 04-cheers

I think that's a good analysis--no way the ESPN folks give up a game with a 3-0 UC team that just toppled Ohio State.

I thought it was a done deal for 7PM. I'm actually quite happy there is a chance for a noon game. Would be MUCH better for me since I'm taking my son to the game.

I'm not sure it's happened, but does anyone remember the last season when every home game was at night?

I imagine what happens with Ole Miss and Memphis that day has something to do with the game time as well. ECU-SMU or UC-Memphis. Can we assume ESPN gets first pick? UC-Memphis regardless of what happens this weekend is going to be the better game; however, ECU is going to be ranked in the top 25. Do you pick the better game or the showcase a ranked team. If UC and Memphis both win then the game is by far the most attractive matchup.

Noon kickoffs suck -- you're stuck missing EPL games if you want to make it on time.

I want a noon game for selfish reasons. That weekend is our town Oktoberfest, where 90,000 people descend on our little town of 3,000. My daughter is in the UC band, and wants to come home with her friends, but can not do so until after the game.

Plus, I like to spend Saturday evening that weekend in the company of several half gallon jugs of beer, so would love to be able to concentrate on a noon game. Trying to follow that awful night game against USF was not enjoyable last year.

But for the majority of UC fans, I would think the 7:00 pm start would be preferable.

Me too. I have to go to Loserville Saturday night for a family event and will miss the game if it is 7 pm. This may be the first time I root for a 12 noon game.
