There is a lot of support for hyper-capitalist (McDonalds), Fortune 500 (Starbucks), unhealthy food (Dunkin Donuts), high fructose corn syrup (Pepsi) and other evil, Gaia hating businesses in those two pictures.

It's almost as if the protesters don't believe in what they are actually saying they do; it's like they are not actually acting like there is a climate change crisis.

I'm willing to bet that 99% of the marchers aren't the fvcking climate loving supernovas they believe themselves to be.

The irony is that overall, capitalism has a far better record regarding the environment than socialism or communism. Compare Germany, East, with Germany, West, for starters. One huge challenge after reunification was cleaning up all the environmental disasters in the former East.

Reminds me of the Earth Day Celebration a few years ago held at
Piedmont Park in Atlanta. The city clean-up crews said it was the
most trash they ever had to clear after an event there.

In my experience, these people blindly believe that they are right
about the issue, therefor believe that there can be no wrong done
when it comes to being on the “right side” of that issue.

It’s impossible to discuss logic with dogmatic bullies.

But I think a big part of the problem is that outside the libertarian movement, nobody is really making the pro-environmental case for capitalism.
