RE: Six day Hold on Cincy-Memphis Game Time
The SMU@ECU and Memphis@Cincy games will each get one of the 2 TV slots
1. ESPNU 11 a.m CDT.
2. CBSSN 6 p.m. CDT.
since ESPN is the rights holder ESPN gets first pick.
both games are in the Eastern time zone.
games that will effect the decision:
TCU @ SMU
ECU is off this week
Memphis @ Ole Miss.
Cincy @ Ohio State.

I miss the good ole days when all the kickoff times were set before the season and listed on the tickets and pocket schedules. The tail is wagging the dog.

This will boil down to how Cincy and Memphis do this weekend. If either/both keep the game close or one win, we will be on ESPNU... If both get blown out, then they will take ECU.
I think we move into top 25 if we were to beat ole miss, not sure how high Cincy would climb with a win over OSU.... But would LOVE to see both of them!!!!

The NFL manages to get it's 256 game schedule out preseason with times as does the NBA and it's 1,230 games. Both these leagues have incredibly lucrative tv deals yet they somehow get times on all their games months in advance. I just think there has to be a better way for college football than waiting a week or 10 days out before you set a start time.

It also makes it tough for those who work part or all of Saturdays, and those who try to have family time on weekends. Some of us have other important things we try to juggle in on our weekends, too.

the NFL still moves times of games in the last 2 months of the season. problem here is you have 128 teams and 10 different conferences to work around.

also I'm sure that ESPN and TNT wish they could have flexed out of all those Knicks games last year.
