Week 4 Power Rankings - Lot of shakeup in the West, notsomuch in the East.

East
1 - Marshall
2 - MTSU
3 - WKU
4 - UAB
5 - Old Dominion - The Rice win made me take notice. A win over Middle and I'll consider them a contender.
6 - FAU
7 - FIU

West
1 - UTSA: Looking like they can run away with the division after the West's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
2 - UTEP: Takes advantage of chaos to ascend into second place.
3 - La Tech: Good enough to rebound from that gut-wrenching loss.
4 - North Texas: See, La Tech, this is what you do to an FCS team.
5 - Rice: I'm having a hard time finding six wins on the schedule. Might have been wrong when I called them a bowl team last week.
6 - Southern Miss

The top tier got smaller to me:

Top: Marshall, UTSA
Middle: everyone else
Bottom: FIU, USM (but not far from middle tier)

Should ODU even be in the rankings though? Even if they finish 8-0 it won't matter.

I thought UTEP loss to Texas Tech, not Texas A&M.

CUSA voted to allow ODU to compete for conference title, but the NCAA decides on bowl eligibility.

Yep ODU can win the CUSA championship but cannot earn a bowl spot. They are in the same boat that UTSA was in last year.

But there are 2 or 3 more bowl games this year which increases our odds.
