Temple stadium questions
Going to Temple game and had a few questions. Where do visitors sit? What is the best part of the stadium to sit in if I buy outside the visitors section?

RE: Temple stadium questions
At Lincoln Financial Field you guys will sit exactly on the opposite side of the field from the Temple fans behind your players. The best seats are on the lower level. Midfield for your side would be 136, 137, 138, 101, 102, 103, 104. All of those would give you excellent views 138, 101, 102 would be the best at midfield ...
I park in nearby FDR Park for free and walk over to the stadium. Or you can park right in the stadium lot. It cost around $18 last time I parked there. There aren't alot tailgating restrictions. You can drink and barbecue ... The lot opens 4 or 5 hours before kickoff ...
I still don't see a kickoff time listed. Most likely they are waiting to see if the game will be televised ...

Are there places to pregame nearby? Not driving so I'm not sure about tailgating. Best way to get tickets??

Sections 101, 102, 103, 137 and 138 are on the visitor side and between the 30’s so there are no bad seats.

Past that the premium seating in the Chrysler Premier Club is nice. It’s the second deck and offers inside amenities like AC, a bar, less crowded concessions, ect but you will only get that on the Temple side.

Park on site, there is plenty of parking.

If you don’t want to venture off the property Xfinity Live is what you are looking for either before or after the game. It’s part of the complex.

Enjoy your trip.

FDR Park is still open during games? Someone told that they close it off for Eagles games. We used to tailgate for Phillies games there.

FYI for tailgaters: Pennsylvania has f'ed up state regulations on purchasing alcohol. So unlike, I dunno, Everywhere Else In America, you can't just stroll into the local mom and pop if you want to buy beer for your tailgate. You'll have to find a licensed distributor or a 'six pack shop'...or just transport it across state lines.

We have a tailgate of over 100, many of which are ECU fans. Our tailgate is going to be LOT E. We are all buying tickets in section 101. Ages 23-28, feel free to stop by

Barbecue is not a verb it is a noun and type of food. You cook barbeque! Also cooking on the grill is called cooking out not barbecuing. You cook food barbeque is a food. Just messing with are brothers from the north. But should be a great game a bunch of East Carolina alumni liver around Philly so should be a good crowd for the game!

RE: Temple stadium questions
Xfinity Live is right next to the stadium. It's a collection of bars and restaurants with big screens. It's a good place to grab a beer and relax. There is a giant german style beer hall located inside of the complex. I think that it is Victory Brewing. Also there is plenty of beer for sale inside of the stadium both domestic, import and craft.

I got a last minuete invited to go to the stadium yesterday. The Eagles vs Skins game was one of the best in recent trips down there. The tailgating was superb. The fans were great and the stadium was just perfect with great weather.
It will be amazing if TU vs ECU came come close to that type of atmosphere.

It's hard to explain, but in a nutshell, you can't walk into your local grocery or service station and buy beer (with a few exceptions explained above). Just giving any tailgaters from south of the Mason-Dixon a head's up.

Oh, and good Iced Tea doesn't exist here, either 03-wink

I'm not sure how it is out East, but in Western PA all the brands have that crappy lemon flavoring added to it.

I'm looking forward to the game. Never been to a game of any kind in Philly since the Vet closed! Sounds like a lot of Pirates will be there too.
