EAST
BGSU -1 pt (Blown out by a decent W Ky team; Embarrassed by Wisconsin, but beat Indiana who is going to be OK in B1G)
Akron +0 (Supposed to be better, but just looking to be a decent Mac East team again, that's it)
Ohio -0.5 (Adjusting without Tettleton; but were worse than expected last year with Tettleton's final year)
Buffalo -1 (They were decent last year at 7-5. Worse this year)

Kent -1 (They're worse. Ouch.)
Miami-OH +1 (It's not saying much, but they're not going to be a basement team by years end)
UMass +1 (Not saying much at all, but can be a pretty competitive team now)

WEST
NIU -1 pt (As expected; still favorites to win MAC West title with Toledo at home if they improve over time; Last year they were a Step ahead of Toledo & BSU)
Toledo -0.5 (Supposed to be better than this; they're not solid as expected; too many holes in how they roll)
BSU -1.5 (Lost to D1AA, their O is bad. By years end they 'should' be better)
CMU -0.5 (They solidly beat Purdue but get Blown Out at home by Syracuse, and lose convincingly to Kansas. A bit worse than last year. Relies too much on a couple players)

WMU +1.5 (Like UMass, they could only really go up, but they are pretty well. They're positive marks past 2 weeks of bad MAC losses)
EMU -0.5 (They sucked last year but were competitive against mid-range MAC teams. They really can't go down any more than a half pt)

The MAC just doesn't have the QB's this year. The MAC will rarely field a defense capable of stopping the big guys.

Yeah and that the MAC West is as deep as it's ever been. Sure.

The East is incredibly bad (9-19 so far this year) but it doesn't make the West good.

Hah. This year may be worse than usual but MAC teams will never outscore eight other FBS opponents by an average of 30 points on a particular weekend. It will never happen.
