RE: Grades-Arkansas
The problem with the WR group is collectively they are talented but we have a stable of 1 trick ponies.

Brown-do it all, vertical, horizontal and intermediate. Just gets a little dropsy.

Canada-runs 3 routes well b/c of his skills. Slant, post and go/fade. Basically where he can use his size and hands to create seperation where lacks the speed and quickness

Beebe/saffold/turner-all give you the quick little slot guy look. Great on the bubble, can stretch vertical. Beebe is actually very polished but lacks high end speed and size needed to run the full compliment of routes.

So the problem becomes we get very predictable b/c other than Brown they know what they are getting.

We need another guy to step up and give that full package look. From what I can tell Blake has the tools. He just needs to continue to progressive

That's why you never see the intermediate stuff from us...drags, deep outs, curls. You need speed to get through those routes in time and a combo of quickness and size to create seperation. We have tried with Canada but you just see he lacks the quickness to get out of those breaks.

Mitchell would seem to be a guy that could help us but clearly he's not polished enough.

If Blake can progress, Beebe and Brown stay healthy and Duecee and Saffold pick up the TLL slack then we should be more than potent enough to expose Mac D's.[/align]

Duece seems to be gradually improving, plenty of talent there for him to do a bit of everything.

Don't forget next year we get galloday(?), the kid who transferred from North Dakota, he looks the part of a big physical guy and got good reviews in training camp

This is what some of us were trying to say before the season started. Canada is just too slow to be a really good WR, and the rest of them are all mighty mites. With Galloday and Tommy next year, the WR crew will be strong, but there's some questions the rest of the year. Turner looks ready to take a step forward, though.

Regarding WR's:

Some may disagree, but I think collectively, NaPalm, Martel & Perez were the best Group of 3 we've had on the field at the same time in recent memory.

Where is Malik Mitchell in the picture. He has some size and was heavily recruited coming out of HS?

RE: Grades-Arkansas
the end analysis is that we got beat by a pretty good SEC team in a very hostile envoirment on our third consecutive road trip. Also, UA took this game very seriously and their coaching staff knew who we were. To win a game like this we have to play a game with no errors and the opposition has to make a couple. Hare has now faced the toughest competion we will have for the rest of the year which is a positive. The first 4 games ended like I thought it would. Now lets run the MAC table

Willie Clark was with that group too. His receiving stats were held down because he was such a great blocker.

If you're talking 2010, Landon Cox was in that group as well.

Fleck, Sheldon, Hurd?
This is probably the winner.

J Mac, the "thrill" Hill and a young Fleck. All 3 can hang nfl on their resume.

Yeah, but he was a TE.

I'll go with Fleck, Sheldon and Hurd as the best group of Huskie WRs.
