Carden had an offer from Harvard. He never went to Harvard.

ECU will not be the same without Carden. He's a once in decade QB for you - he's a game changer akin to Phillip Rivers or Russell Wilson at State. You are fortunate that you have a defense to back him.

State did not get it's defense in place until the year after Rivers graduated. Had he redshirted we had a 13-0 quality team in 2004 with two first round draft choices on the defensive side. Wilson also never had the kind of defense you have now.

I'm hoping you run the table for the rest of the year and that you go back to being average by 2016 because our kids will not be able to focus on you due to playing ND that year. 04-cheers

You'd better hope your first sentence is right. Some folks in the know think the next QB (Kurt Benkert) could be the best we've had yet in the offense. Obviously that's yet to be proven but he'll have a year as a starter before playing NCSUx. He's been getting some decent playing time in our blowouts and scored TD's in both. Recruiting a good QB isn't a problem with our offense.

Already making excuses (ND)? 05-mafia

Didn't he transfer from Harvard? How'd he go from Harvard to ECU? Not a knock on ECU, just curious.

He wanted an education from a regionally accredited school.

What?

How many of the Ivy League schools are regionally accredited?

yeah, I figured it out. lol 04-cheers

Thanks for the info. Best of luck the rest of the way. (I'm from Eastern NC and brother and sister went to ECU)

Have you seen the flipping cost of going to Harvard? My cousin went and 6 hours costed more than my Bachelors degree.

Carden made a great decision in not going to Harvard because he will be on ESPN frequently and be rich by this time next year if he keeps playing at the level he is playing at.
