Let's not make ECU out to be more than they are. They've had their fair share of stinker seasons. Last season was only their 2nd time winning 10 or more games in their history...and that's playing against subpar competition. Right now they are hot. Let's see what happens when Carden is gone and they have to break in a new QB...or when they lose their hot shot OC to another school.

I would like to see them play Duke. However, I do believe ECU would win that game this year.

I don't think there is anything technical about it. It's not Louisville's concern if they happened to play their first ACC opponent the prior bowl season. Simply put, Louisville won their first ACC game.

As a side note, Louisville is a combined 5-0 in their last meetings with Miami, FSU & Florida.
