If GT beats Miami in 2 weeks ... the S in GTS might be back.

GT and Duke may very well find themselves ranked very soon.

The way I see it is this.

1. Defense HAS TO improve. It's just terrible right now. Missing all the tackles, running past ball carrier and tripping over own feet, etc.
2. No stupid penalties or dumb plays. No stupid false starts like we had against Nebraska, no pass interference like there was against ASU, etc.
3. Offense needs to limit turnovers. Kaaya is fairly good as a freshman and a lot of the 'bad' plays that we've had have come from mistakes like tips, messed up routes, and RB fumbles.

If we can do those three simple things we'll be a good ball club. But we're not right now, and it sucks to say. I'm disappointed in our defense, once again, and Al Golden is just saying "They can't tackle worth two craps" which isn't helping matters at all.

Miami will have a true test against Duke this upcoming weekend. We desperately need a win on national TV. Duke might even be ranked coming in. Hopefully there's a good crowd but by the looks of the last game there may not be as many.

Coastal is just complete parity. Ugh.

I think everyone is vastly underrating Duke.

I think a good judgement of Miami will be how we play against the Blue Devils this weekend.

Everyone in the Coastal is going 6-6 this year.

Louisville will beat Wake this weekend! Write it down!

more likely is 2 or 3 teams from atlantic go 6-6 or 7-5 with FSU and Clemson winning 9 plus each

I'm not convinced GT can beat Miami. Hopefully we use the 2 weeks to our advantage.
