Memphis Roar 5 days a week. Usually has a Middle smack post. Dude was counting down the days till this game.

3rd down conversion took a step backwards. We were a little over 33% Saturday night.

TG4 actually seems quite civil these days. On the bright side, he walked away on the winning side no matter what

RE: Noticeable Improvement
I was wondering just before Cross's 50 yard tight end rumble to the end zone if we were just going to play conservative the rest of the game. In fact, we didn't run much motion in the second half.

That was a great play call. Didn't know Cross could motor like that.

Hell did come to those who bit the wrong way on the big spread.

Even the ESPN announcer did make some comment about us that went something like this...
who would have thought that the Memphis Tigers would have dominated a good team like Middle the whole game.

I do believe, from the sound of his voice, that the announcer feller had money on Middle too...lol

In all honesty, the game wasn't nearly as close as the final score. We easily left 15 points off the scoreboard and allowed mtsu a late score that shouldn't have happened.

And how long has it been that we can complain about the team leaving more than 2scores off the board while still putting up over 30. How long has it been that the complaints about our team is that we didn't beat a pretty good team badly enough?

Agree. We kicked their collective asses all over the field. Without the taunting call on Dorceous after his nice run backed us up and stalled that drive, we would have had our foot on their throats all night.

Yep the sophomore will learn he can't do that against Ole Miss or it will cost dearly. I'm sure coach has some up/downs scheduled for him and the team leaders will back coach up.

I agree. We did not even come close to playing all that well and still won easily. I think that is a good thing too. Plenty of things the coaches can point out on tape this week.

I also thought Fuente made some "interesting" decisions on those go for it don't go for it fourth downs.
