SMU travels to ECU in 2 weeks.

We've got 2 weeks to get ready for SMU. Hoping we don't have a letdown.

I would almost guarantee we are going to have a let down. Thankfully the game is at home and nothing personal to any of the great SMU posters on this board but they are a complete mess right now. It really is the perfect game following that stretch we just played. If we had no bye and had to go let's say to Temple who's a very solid team but someone that might not fully get our players back down to earth I'd be scared to death. SMU we can probably play really bad and still win.

1) ECU
2) Memphis/UC
3) UCF
4) Temple
5) Houston
6)-11) are interchangeably bad.

I like our run D and O and as previously stated, that is a recipe for winning footballs games. Also totally stoked we get to avoid UCF and ECU. They would be fun to watch, but it gives us better shot at winning the conference this year (which I can't believe we are even discussing)

It's been a long road being a Tiger football fan, but it feels good to finally not be a doormat.

Good Luck to Cinci against Ohio State! Bring one home for the AAC!

I'm not sure what to think of UCF yet. Their secondary looks suspect so far and the o-line doesn't look good. I hope that changes soon. The good news is they have their new QB in Holman. If he gets the protection Bortles got he should be very good.

1. ECU
2. UC

We might need a recount, because I just can't believe that SMU is worse than Tulsa. It is close no doubt, but worse?

SMU has 12 points this season. Tulsa beat Tulane.

Yes that is pretty bad, but Tulsa gave up 50 points to FAU!! You take away that game and FAU has only gotten 26 points in total during the other 3 games that they have played in. I guess that SMU and Tulsa will settle this on the field on November 8th.

Tulsa already beat Tulane, so how can Tulsa be worse than SMU, or even Tulane, at this point? That is the key. We're talking about today, not Nov. 8.

Heck, SMU is not just the worst team in the AAC. According to CBSSports, they are the worst in the country:
