Does anyone know anything about this lady that is suppose to be the pres pro tem of the board? Is she new or has she been a board member. Hopefully PBJ will be 70 soon.

Cubby will be 70 next December.

Andria Scott Hurst, one of the UAB graduates on the board, is retiring. The Board nominated Barbara Humphrey, who is also a UAB graduate.

Seems the the that I saw was a Karen Humphrey. Not sure about last name, but the ladies first name was Karen.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say or refer to, but the Karen you saw was Karen Brooks, who has been on the Board for quite a while, who has been elected as President Pro Tem.

Rabren is a good contractor. They have worked for me in the past. Glad they got it.
That said. Yea fiscal responsibility. Snicker.

It's not the fact that it is over budget. Without knowing the situation it's hard to judge. Hundreds of things could factor in that. It's the fact that it is being done in the first place and the OCS is not.

Especially for a team that has been a bottom feeder in the SEC for the past five years. The only reason they have had NCAA appearances is from riding the coat tails of the strong teams.

Karen Brooks has been on the Board for quite a while. The only new member was Barbara Humphrey, a UAB graduate

So, to review:

Karen Brooks, who is not new to the board, is the new president pro tem.
Karen Brooks is blond.
Karen Brooks is not Barbara Humphrey.
Andi Hurst is retiring.
Cubby Bryant is stepping down as pro tem, is 69, and probably will never die, per his contract with Satan.
Barbara Humphrey may or may not be blond, and may or may not be a former UAB athlete, wife of a former Bama athlete, mother of Bama and UAB athletes.
Dumping 42 million into a baseball field that doesn't make money is fiscally responsible.
