Definitely toughest game so far this year for Marshall. This one does concern me Akron has been able to surprise Marshall when we play in their place.

Most away games scare me any more. We just need to stay focused, not let stupid penalties cost us, and take care of the ball. Play like we did last week and we should win this game.

Not to Jinx him, but Cato looking extremely sharp today.

Akron is getting zero pass rush. There's been several plays Cato has had enough time to make a sandwich and eat it. He had no pressure at all on the TD pass to Jean-Louis.

I still remember Leftwich's senior year, I know it was a freak injury, but Akron was already beating us before he got hurt. That should have been a blowout win. Never underestimate how fired up a coach can get their team when they perceive it's a big game.

Interesting, I did not know Doc was recruited by Bobby Bowden, I thought he was a Nehlen recruit. I guess that's where Doc got his recruiting skills, Bowden was always a great recruiter.
