How many yards rushing will Franklin get tonight?

I think Franklin and Chance both go over the 100-mark today. I'll say 115 for Franklin and 120 for Chance.

That's assuming Fleck learned his lesson from last season against Nicholls St.

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that Franklin has more yards receiving than running... I have a sneaky feeling we might see a new wrinkle where we sneak him out and throw to him in the open against VT... Get that kid in space and he'll do damage!

Bold prediction: I'm betting Franklin is held to less than 50 yards rushing.

That program has too much pride defensively to allow a true freshman RB from the MAC dominate them on the ground. I bet they shut our running game down on Saturday.

I'd be surprised if we see that. We haven't yet. I think our line can hold their blocks against VaTech running wise after seeing Georgia Tech play them, although the wreck utilized a lot of misdirection via the veer which I love to watch. We ran it in high school.

Pass protection wise VaTech's speed will be a bit much for us. If we can't run effectively it's going to be a long day.

Could not agree more. However, if we can generate a decent running game this weekend I think that the score won't get as out of hand as most think it might....

Great post DB, i agree. We have young tackles and VT outside rushers will give us a challenge. Will be a great test for us.
