Help from Cincy and/or USF fans
I noticed, while watching this game between USF and UConn, that USF's able to put their logo down at Raymond James. However the other night, I couldn't help but notice that the field markings were all Bengals during the Cincinnati game at Paul Brown Stadium. While obviously the USF deal with Raymond James is a more permanent deal than Cincy's with Paul Brown...why couldn't Cincy put their logos down for their games? Obviously it's doable seeing as the Buccaneers can change 'em out before their games.

The Glazers like teasing us...

Just enough to convince USF to not build an OCS

Although after this game with all the rain the condition of the turf is horrendous. Maybe the Bucs can us this as leverage to push USF towards getting an OCS.

It used to be the Bull's could only have their markings on the field if the Buc's were not playing the next day.

RE: Help from Cincy and/or USF fans
1. PBS has artificial turf and the Bengals markings are permanently woven into the turf. They did temporarily paint "American" logos in open areas of the field. These were removed prior to the Bengals game last Sunday.
2. UC @ PBS is a one year deal so the Bengals opted to go with the non-removable end zone and midfield sections. PBS and Nippert have the type of turf and both were installed in July 2013 after UC decided they were going to remodel Nippert vs. moving down to PBS semi-permanently.
3. RayJay is natural turf and USF is a regular tenant.
4. Markings @ RayJay are kept to minimum for USF and are easily painted over for the Buds logos since the USF markings are usually green and white with a little gold. It looks horrendous when it goes the other way and they try to paint over the Bucs markings.
5. USF does need their own OCS because like PBS, RayJay is too big and lacks the intimacy that a college stadium generally has.

Thanks guys. I didn't realize PJS had artificial turf.

I agree, USF needs their own OCS.

An NFL team plays at Paul Brown Stadium. That's not the case at Raymond James.

When PBS was built, it had grass, which died...and was replanted...which died.

After two or three years of terrible, brown grass, they went to turf.

Thanks Bearcat. I knew that had had grass there before, I just didn't know they had replaced it with turf. I don't tend to pay much attention to NFL. I'm a college guy. That was the source of my confusion.
