October 18th gametime?
Anybody hear what time this game is going to be played? I have to setup a time for getting my kid a babysitter but all this TBA is getting old.

From niuhuskies.com:

In 2014, kickoff times for Mid-American Conference home games will be determined and announced 12 days in advance, or in limited instances, six days in advance. Thanks for your interest and patience!

I'm not a big fan of this TBA stuff either. Since we come from fairly far away, if we happen to have an early kickoff (11 or noon) or a late /evening kickoff we sometime have to get a hotel room & go up the night before or stay after a night game rather than try to drive home late.

I like to plan & know what the hell I'm doing.

October 18th gametime?
Slightly off topic..
Recent email about Family Weekend still lists the game time as TBD. Tailgating at Alumni Village is said to "start" at 11am.
Not sure that's enough to say it won't be at 11am....
We should know Monday on 10/4.

EXACTLY! 11AM is a BIG difference from 4 or 7 pm when your 60+ year old parents are driving over an hour to babysit my 2 year old. Rockford to Dekalb is an hour away from my home too so that makes it that much later to get back to them.

How the hell is 12 days notice not enough time to make plans? I just don't understand some of these complaints and never will.

Sometimes people want to do two or more things in a day or have the opportunity to do something and need to know when the game is to make plans.

Its hard if you have kids. We already have other plans penciled in at 10:30am. I doubt the game will be at 11am so I am not too worried about it.

I really do hope the Miami game is 11 am though!...I have an event in Elmhurst I have to be at 4:30pm that day.

I agree.

We don't even know about this game coming up real quick:
10/04/14 vs. Kent State * DeKalb, Ill. TBA

We're supposed to go to a party in Rockford at 6 pm.

Yep, when me and my wife didn't have kids it didn't matter if they told us the time the night before but when you have kids and the rest of your family is over an hour away, the more heads up we can get the better.

We will know the Kent St kickoff time before noon on Monday. I am thinking it will be between 2:30pm and 4pm

Like I said - we sometimes need to book hotel rooms. If it happens to be Family Weekend, THAT makes getting a room more difficult if we don't book far in advance. And we also drive over 2 hours...if it is a weekday, that requires taking the day off of work.

You obviously do not have kids, HuskieRak. Having little ones makes you have to plan. Spur of the moment anything is a thing of the past! ;-)
