When I have some quiet time Monday I will watch the replay.

We had company, I was grilling out and the Miss St-LSU game was on the big screen. After dinner I was able to watch most of the second half without interruption.

Amazing how my wife can plan these things, like she has an internal clock of when the Tigers are playing.

03-lmfao Wives not only have a knack for that kind of planning, they enjoy it.

Someone blamed playing 3ot game the week before 'taking a lot out of you'.
They only had 1 week of rest...gee. How much REST do you need?
You don't hear college basketball players complaining in the conference tournaments when they play an overtime game...and then have to go play again the next night.
(And yes I get that football is more physical. Which is why they wait 1 week to play another game)

Not all wives enjoy that.

Mine fixed some of our food for tailgating, had a couple of beers with me on Tiger Lane, high fived and kissed me after each Tiger TD and then helped clean and pack up on TL after the game. As usual, she seemed to enjoy it.

There were even some 'wives' who watched, or went to the games, without their husbands/partners...lol.

Mine for example. Extenuating circumstances meant I didn't get home to watch till half time so the woman used our tickets to take a friend.

We will always have butts in our seats in the rare occasions we can't make a game.

RE: ***Official Memphis vs MTSU Game Thread***
Just got back to Atlanta. Enjoyed the game. Some great defense, Tank Jakes was awesome. On offense, some nice catches on marginal throws too but some good throws & catches too from our QB to a number of different receivers. Nice to see the receiving corp doing their part to make the QB look good & keep drives alive as opposed to drops on good throws. The Dorceus run for the TD was something special too - some jocks till laying on the field after that one. Nice to see us have the better team speed, & better skilled players across the board - and better schemes, offense & defense. Great field position play too for most of the game which came from good defense & special teams. Only concern IMO was the inconsistent 3rd down play on offense, 5 of 17 won't get it done as the opposition gets better. This reminded me of what I saw late in the UCLA game when we had a chance to come up big. Don't want to end on a negative note so I won't - a very good all around game in all phases of the game & nice crowd.

Can't make the OM game game but I'll watch. I think we will give the Black Bears all they want....Go Tigers!
