Way too much VT and ECU gear on campus from what I can remember of my undergrad days. Plus, students dig free stuff.

VCU final four shirts - I've seen a handful of them during my time here. Plenty of Tech/UVA stuff, too.

I guess I wore my fair share of UVA shirts while at ODU, of course I was there during the food lion mascot days so I'll use that as my excuse.

This would be awesome, though.

I don't think I ever saw ECU or VCU gear on our campus, that would be like wearing UNC gear at Duke. A travesty. I did see way too much UVA and VT stuff though.

I've seen people wearing VCU stuff to football games on more than one occasion. I guess they've got to get their football somewhere.

The Christopher Newport Equestrian Team rides at my barn, so I always have to Rep ODU there. I even had an ODU saddle pad made up for my horse. It will be weird this year as ODU's new Equestrian Team begins to compete and my horse gets used at the CNU shows. I should tell them she has to wear her ODU pad for them to use her. I now feel like I am a little bit behind enemy lines! I, also, have 2MONARX on my license plates and a number of ODU stickers on my car.

ODU has done swaps for other school's apparel before (traded in an UR shirt during my junior year) it's generally run by student government, not athletics.

VCU gear on our campus should fall under the obscenity exception to free speech.

Great Idea...ODU All the time. I also think the University should send every Student and their Parent an ODU sticker to put on their car. Time to step up the Monarch pride. At football games anyone where another University gear should be embarrassed. I see VT tents and apparel way too much.

The University of Tennessee sends car stickers out with your acceptance letter. Think it is a great idea. Low cost, but allows students to show pride before they step foot on campus.

I was behind a car in Boston yesterday with an ODU sticker on it...always great to see them. I think it's a great idea to send them out!

How hard it that....to send out an ODU Car Sticker with the admission packet ? Great fricken idea. If it is a money thing increase student fee by $2.00 and send it out. ODU needs to really start a Monarch Pride campaign and start getting our Monarch emblem out all over the place. Also every time you see a person wearing ODU clothing say Go Monarchs !!! It is not that hard.
