Big plays on Special teams and defense helped but we have shown we are more balanced than folks thought we were.

Agreed, the accuracy of the QB could have also been listed in the top 3, maybe/probably instead of penalties for NIU.

in addition to the base SEC >> MAC argument, we are transitioning a new QB, lost a QB who was like 70-80% of our offense last year, and lost a rare stud defensive player to the NFL.

we were always a team in transition this year. i'm thinking people just assume that the same transition that went from Harnish to Lynch was going to happen...i wish it were that easy

Our fans will ***** and cry after this game but once we win again in the MAC they will get over it.

Nobody in our fanbase has believed that Allen is much improved. Nobody really realized how bad he was hurt last season. They numbed his shoulder before each game the last 6 or 7 games.

This has been a year in the making. I'm not saying we are gonna win a bunch of games but we will not be a bottom dweller.

We are definitely on the right track. This was a scrappy team we played tonight, and we fought for four quarters.
