I agree that the independents shouldn't be included at all as they arent eligible for the access bowl etc.

I also agree that Cincy and ECU are overrated. I have no doubt that Marshall would have beaten VT this seaskn and would beat UNC and ECU as well. The schedule is what it is, but it doesn't change how good a team is. Marshall is leaps and bounds better than it was last season, when it shellaced ECU 59-28 at seasons end. Marshall is and will continue to be my #1 until i see a ceiling, ala being beaten by someone.

That is an easy statement to make when you do not have to play the games. I admire your confidence but how long are you guys going to try and justify the ability of your team based on that one game around Thanksgiving of last year…Which team is Marshall? The team that kicked ECU's ass or the team that got its ass kicked by Rice? The results of one game is not always a true measure of how good or bad a team may be.

Lets see how the rest of the season plays out…Then we can find out who is overrated and who is the real deal. Talking about it now is a waste of time and energy.
