"The Tigers would love to be where MTSU football is these days."

"...a member of something called the American Athletic Conference."

Just pitiful.

That article reads like an MTSU grad wrote it.

I'm glad he had time to cover the game. Those stories about cake walks on the square and Mr. Turner's mule getting out of the fence again take up quite a bit of time.

It would be extremely gratifying to lay an APSU type shellacking on their azz Sat.

Regardless of bowl appearances or recent successes, it is ridiculous to say that Memphis would love to be where Middle is. First, the name, Middle Tennessee, it's sounds so low major.

I thought it was interesting that Stockstill said he loves the rivalry and would rather play Memphis than an SEC or Big 10 team.

he replaced us with Vandy for 4 years which doesn't even require a hotel stay. I don't see what the columnists issue is.

Technically, their campus is directly on Middle TN.

You are not much of a journalist when you have an agenda and expose it in a news story.

RE: Column from Murfreesboro paper
These games are not a rivalry and going to Murfreesboro, TN for these games are not on my bucket list.

This is not about being snobbish. Sorry, if they feel slighted because this is not about them (being vain). U of M has a bigger agenda than playing MTSU and if they can't understand... Well, "'Tough titty', said the kitty, when the milk went dry."

We need to beat them to show true progress. They are always up for us. I hope we play our best.

They want to keep playing but we have better playmates..It's simple.

I wish we could take everyone with us on the lifeboat to the P5, but the seas are choppy and we're rowing with all our might. lol.
