Both of those guys were 3rd stringers. They are disposable at ALL schools. What did the non Kelly guy do exactly? (doesn't say)

Kelly is a knucklehead. I dont want him but I cant control FSU.

Chad Kelly was the second string QB at the time of his dismissal, and dismissing him left Clemson with two scholarship QBs on roster, one of which was a true freshman.

Ky Priester was a second stringer coming into fall camp before attitude problems moved him down the depth chart. With his dismissal we have seven scholarship WR on roster.

What did Priester do?

Bad attitude with coaches during practices and supposedly had a hissy fit on the sidelines of the UGA game.

Again, IMO its about his complete lack of situational awareness...

Right, but pay no attention to the ongoing Title IX climate investigation.

A minor the to be sure, but since someone decided to tell, ones antenna should probably be up.

No, but see your first point and my response. Just tactically unsound thinking at this point in his media saturated life

Considering there's probably a procedure for a CFB to get his free crab legs (time of day, which register yo use etc..) that he failed to use just doesn't speak highly about his common sense. 'Bama nor Auburn would be able to mask a track record a distinguished as this.[/quote]

Oh Ragu, FYI standing up in a public area and yelling this meme would indeed be a violation of Florida law

Quote:Breach of the peace; disorderly conduct.—Whoever commits such acts as are of a nature to corrupt the public morals, or outrage the sense of public decency, or affect the peace and quiet of persons who may witness them, or engages in brawling or fighting, or engages in such conduct as to constitute a breach of the peace or disorderly conduct, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

Brett McMurphy claiming FSU says they changed the suspension based on a continuing investigation. What exactly changed? This incident is pretty public. Probably the best end result but was this simply bowing to public pressure on the sport this month with all the NFL trouble?

Its amazing isnt it. First he is out for a half a game. ESPN runs a poll to see if that is enough punishment. 80 percent vote no and now he is out for the whole game. Wow, its a strange world we now live in.

another odd thing, who announces something like this at 11pm on friday night? did the fsu pres get tanked and say...ah hell, lets make it a whole game...just odd

Rumors he may be done the whole year. Our provost slash interim president is a big people pleaser and vocally pro women's rights awareness advocate who was just told she was no longer a candidate for the full time position. Might be trying to leave her mark and audition for some other gig. Fascinating, really.

its one thing to punish someone, but to decide its not enough and just change it...not cool.

How is this more reasonable? This is absurd.

Nick Marshall got kicked out of a school before attending Auburn. He got busted for pot and got a half game! So now Jameis getting a full game for just repeating an internet video that was vulgar warrants a full game? That is BS.

ESPN and Finebaum barely mentioned the Marshall story but just wouldn't let this go. They have been on a mission to down FSU at every turn because it helps their mission of getting 2 SEC teams in the playoff. Plus FSU dethroned their mighty conference and they are pissed. They got their way and FSU's pansy administration backed down. This is a complete joke

Between the open investigation FSU announced on the old sexual assault charges and the continued misbehavior I'd say this more minor/college kid related type stuff was just the straw that broke the camels back. Dude hasn't learned to just chill yet.....now if he's done for the year before the other investigation is concluded that might be a bit over the top.

RE: Winston to only play one half against Clemson
One half was an overreaction to this incident but was fine with me due to the accumulation of bb guns, soda shots, crab legs and now cursing. But are you kidding me people? Were talking about pretty trivial things, truly. Realize now manziel didn't really deserve all the hate either. I doubt America would like most of you if they saw all the stupid shot you did in college.

I'll once again remind people that there was no evidence of rape as supported by drug and alcohol testing and the "rape kit" (came back negative on female tissue being torn that's often a sign of sexual assault). As for title IX, there are 100 colleges under investigation. Required by law. What do you really expect to come of that if the state attorney couldn't find enough evidence to press charges? I'm sure fsu will make a statement saying they will alter how they handle these situations but from what I've read no school has ever lost federal funding like the media keeps threatening.

I don't believe that this is some conspiracy theory to promote the SEC. ESPN wants to report on whatever is going to get them great ratings. FSU is the reigning national champion and has the Heisman winner at their program who just happens to have a dynamic personality and a penchant for mischievousness. ESPN is going to ride the FSU train and its ratings as long as they can. Right now, ESPN's feelings about FSU is the opposite of what you think. They are in LOVE with FSU and Winston.

Unless they turned up something new in their investigation then I agree with FSU fans here. A game suspension is to much here. I even heard ESPN say last night that he may be done for the season. There has to be something more to this.

As you know they've been saying he's staying two more years..in part because of baseball. If he can't stop his stupidity, FSU will grow weary and tell him to disappear.

Okay. I don't think he's back next year even if he has zero future behavior issues.

Really? They are in love with FSU and Winston? What a crock . They are in love with painting them as a villain and hating on them at every turn.

-Winston suspension was complained about for 3 days to be a full game. UF drops their player suspensions after a rainout vs Idaho and Nick Marshall got a half game for pot at Auburn after being thrown out of Georgia previously. Those were buried and swept under the rug after a brief mention to end their shows.....

-Paul Finebaum is on a crusade to boost the SEC and Alabama. He hates on every team in their way and has set his sights on FSU. Has done it all year and is extremely biased.

-Lou Holtz yesterday talked about his ND team coming off a championship and how they got everyones best shot and that it eventually caught up to them. He flat out said FSU should have lost and then added that it will catch up to them too (with a smirk).

-Mark May hated on FSU the entire time and said nothing positive. When the host briefly mentioned Winston worked with Maguire for 3 hours, they immediately cut out after it with no elaboration.

-Herbstreit is one of the few fair ones. He balanced Fowler hating on FSU and loving on Clemson pretty much cheering them to win.

The bottom line is ESPN has their loved programs and conferences. They love the SEC and a few other programs. FSU and Miami are absolutely buried by ESPN all the time. You are blind if you haven't seen it over the years.
