But that's your job here as the Cajun Grand Mufti fan.

There are a number of Cajun fans that post on this forum like IdahoCajun, Basinbear, BamaCajun and others that post good information. I seldom disagree with them, but when I come to the forum and the first thread at the top of the page is someone asking about UL scheduling Kentucky, and not so shockingly its you!

UK is too scared to play us.
Guess they're looking for a lesser school to try to beat up on.

Well, this may come as a shock to you, but there are no rules here that state anyone has to start any thread that contains actual stories with links. Sometimes we here post opinion, rumor, desires, what if's, etc and then we (another shock for you) discuss the topic.
Yeah, I've heard there's a new gizmo on the internet that helps people locate information. I believe it's called Google, but I've never used it. They tell me it's slicker than a cat's ass.
Maybe next time I hear a rumor about the Cajun program, I'll use that new google gizmo so I don't disappoint any post-nazis who scan this site to make sure I'm posting up-to-date and factual information.
Oh, and you forgot Swampbear. He's a nice guy. You should be like him.

This will not be a easy UK team to beat anymore. They are loading up on talent this past two years and I would expect them to be bowl eliglable next season and possible this season. Good game topics up though

As a long suffering cajun fan, I totally see it coming.
Its really farcical. We literally never, ever catch a break with SEC scheduling.

Heard the same thing. Apparently they finally realized there was another sport other than basketball worth playing.
Having said that, I bet it was a hoot for you guys beating them.

We should have beaten Arkansas last year. They sucked big time. And then there was the Bama game many moons ago. Bryan Mitchell qb'd that day. IIRC we led at the end of the 3rd but they came back to beat us by a touchdown or so. Oh what might have been. I had the pleasure of the plane ride from hell on the way back to Lafayette.

It was great beating them! The problem is that once you beat them they won't play you anymore.
It was a great day for all the fans in BG, both the Western fans because their team won, the Bowling Green-based UK fans whose home town team won, and the WKU alum UK fans whose alma mater won.
Short story regarding the WKU "fans" who are really UK fans. During the 24-8 beatdown of the UK baseball team by the Tops at the BG Hot Rods stadium several years ago, a blue-bedecked UK fan sitting on the front row along the first base line left his seat in the middle of the game, after the beatdown had begun. He came back about 20 minutes later wearing a WKU sweatshirt with no blue in sight! What a fan!
To the UL Cajuns... Good luck in your game with the Wildcats. I think as the other poster mentioned that they are improving but it is still very much a winnable game for your team.

I hadn't seen that happen at an EKU game (not an insult to WKU, just stating an observation), but the number of UK, UofL and OSU shirts at EKU games drives me nuts.....

Wouldn't go crazy over UK being a good team yet....Lets see how they do this season, only way they had to go was up, so slow down a little on acting like UK is now a football powerhouse, haha.....For UKs sake they better hope Ohio is legit state for talent as he has been in the past because half their players are from Ohio...Has helped WKU a little in our own state now as we are getting guys over UK due to UK overlooking KY guys and going into Ohio for a lot of players...
