My wife has never complained.. But then again, I do work up a sweat at my job, even when there's snow on the ground.

Remember that story about the old man at the Foster Grandparents Program I wrote about not too long ago. Well, that old man didn't think he smelled either.

I cannot go one day without deodorant even if I don't go out. I hate to smell bad or like one lady said, "como trapito mojado" (like an old wet rag) and you know how that smells.

I always thought that burnt corn was about the nastiest smelling thing you could burn on a stove until the day we ran a call where a lady left a pot of pinto beans on.

It was a big stock pot full, and they were charcoal by the time we got the call. When we rolled up and took a whiff we thought that we were going to find some sort of ritual sacrifice or something because it smelled like Satan's ass outside that apartment. The smell got in our gear and had us driving back to the station with the windows rolled down in a cold, driving rainstorm. The worst part was I was working a 1/2 a shift the next day and couldn't wash my gear, so for the rest of that shift and the half of the next every time I put my gear on I got covered in the smell. I've smelled burned bodies before, and fought a fire in a chicken house and I would rather smell that again than a pot of pinto beans.

LOL, how true. It is a horrendous smell. So a word to the wise, watch your beans, ha, ha.

Yeah, I am also married, but I am an average looking guy and never had problems when I was single as a non-metrosexual. Some women want metrosexual-types and some want real men. Even if I reinvented myself as a metrosexual I wouldn't have been in the market for those women anyway because I don't think like them. I always wanted marriage and family and was always in a conservative thought process and never cared to join the urban rat race. Wouldn't have gotten past a first date with a metro-chaser.

Now I accept that some women (probably the bra burning type) don't want a super manly man but whether they want to admit it or not since the caveman days we've been attracted to the type of man that can best provide for us. We want the alpha male.

We want the fuccking Brawny Paper Towel man.



We want a bada$$ who will protect us in the zombie apocalypse but will still cuddle a baby:

Now as we've discussed previously a little manscaping is not an issue. But if you're seriously waxing or removing all your hair that's just weird. If you have the same amount of hair or lack thereof that I do on my lady-bits that's a problem.

As for men using bath and bodyworks? That's ok if you're 70+ or in high school. If you're a grown-ass man then fuccking wear real cologne. Not that nasty Axe body-spray crap, not cheap-ass Bath and Body Works. Real cologne. Or if you don't like cologne splash some aftershave on.
