They are. Loved how Carey put this game on the offensive line's shoulders and called them out for their Orange Bowl performance.

They put him in the gameplan because he deserved to play? Is it really that hard to figure out? Coaches play players who earn playing time. He said Maddie deserved to play, so he played.

I enjoy maddie getting reps, I think he has a lot of potential and has looked good doing so, just the whole "he's on a leash this series so no pass" thing burned us on that 3rd down when they stacked the box and got ACRB dropped for a loss...

I think that is the idea Carey wanted to feed BB and Arkansas for this week.

No doubt to me if Maddie comes in this week that he will throw a big pass.

I'm not sure if I would say they don't trust him to throw, as much as they went right down the field running the ball. It's not like it was 3rd and 7 when ACRB got stuffed, it was 3rd and 2.

They let him throw plenty at NU.

I think getting Maddie in for a series is strictly a feel thing. They felt the offense needed a spark at NU and they brought him in. We had a lead against UNLV and really had the run game going and brought him in.

Maddie is one snap away from being the starter. It is a good idea to give him some snaps. I do agree that he should have the full playbook to work from when he gets his playing time.

I just have this nightmare image of Hare absolutely getting decapitated on a run on someday. He runs pretty straight up and is a huge target.

He does, but somehow he has been really good at avoiding getting rocked!
