There are some Mississippi fans here...but...the male fans spend a lot of time in the bathroom crying so I rarely see them.

They are really confident this year. They say they aren't worried about our game at all. I hope we keep it close the whole game so they can have a heart attack. Losing game day would be awesome as well

They're really confident every year even when they have nothing - it's especially magnified this year because they they actually have a decent team and good coach for once.

Most of the real $EC fans that I know are good people. I know some very good Old Mrs fans. I know some sucky bammer fans too. When I moved to my new neighborhood 5 years ago I was asked what my favorite $EC team was and I said none. I like their football but my team is Memphis.

my boss's daughter now goes to Ole Miss. they are nice people though.

His comments were taken out of context. He was very complimentary of our staff and our team. Don't make it something that it isn't. The Ole Miss fans I've been around at work and the gym have ALL been very positive about Memphis and think it will be a good game. They feel we are without a doubt their toughest out of conference test. But for now, we need to beat the brakes off Middle Tennessee!!!! Take care of that and then I'll worry about the Rebels.

Ok, bad joke. I AM very sensitive to both issues as have worked for years with people that were victims of both, but I also am sick of how over-reacting some people are.

Mississippi has brought their A+ game with obsessiveness over beating Memphis quite often in the past. Their Super Bowl. Ask Coach O.

Meanwhile, celebrate wins over a down Boise State, a worst in a generation Vanderbilt, and Louisiana Lafayette- I doubt you are posting on their fan boards.

In addition to Memphis, it appears Mississippi looks up to Alabama, Florida, LSU, Moo, Auburn, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee. Let alone a lot of other programs around the country.
