Cool! I didn't realize they were deconstructing and rebuilding that much of it. Can't wait to see the rest. Thanks for sharing.

A LOT of the work had to be sub-grade. Which makes the time-lapse look kinda of boring. (No pun intended...) You simply can't see how much foundation work had to be done. Plus, it's a tight fit on campus, which means you can't just wale away with a wrecking ball and have to fit the pieces and cranes in like a puzzle.

The other thing is that this is going to be a massive addition, stretching from 1/3 around the endzone-curve of the "home" ("west") grandstand and running the entire length of the "home" concourse. This will balance out the second deck on the "visitor" side (the Reid-Shank Pavilion). So you're talking about a project that will stretch something like a curving 120 yards long...

Awesome! Yeah, I noticed the foundation and footing work. Keep posting the updates as you get them.

Hope to make the trip again; have not been to Cincy since the CUSA1.0 days. Obviously so much has changed.

Not only has the stadium changed, but the entire campus and the surrounding streets. It is really an amazing transformation.

If you do make the trip, highly recommend you spend a day exploring the campus athletic areas and definitely the area around campus, especially south. Your jaw will literally drop at how different it is than when you last visited. It might as well be a different school.
