I guess my point in all of this is - while I have no idea what to expect tomorrow night - I feel very much like how I felt prior to last year's Iowa game. I don't think Arkansas will wear NIU down. I don't think anyone will wear NIU down. One of the things NIU has shown in the last 5 years is a unique ability to turn it on in the second half because of excellent conditioning and style of play.

My prediction is this - If everything goes in a similar fashion to the 2013 Iowa game, I'll be quite happy come tomorrow night.

I liked your post. Very good point. I think the key is though that the Iowa games were the first games of the season to kick things off. Arkansas has shown they run -- and run better than Iowa did then. I think NIU's O is the key to not being worn down, and as long as they have that going -- they'll at least be able to hang in there some. But with new QB and all, man, let's hope he passes this test to shine as a stable long-term QB for this game, right?

I wouldn't be Shocked if NIU pulled it out in a barn-burner. I would only be Shocked if NIU won by what Arkansas would be thought to do by analysts. But I would be surprised if NIU won this puppy. Good thing is though, Arkansas's QB is trying to find his way and seems a few steps back. Hopefully this isn't his "I AM a decent QB" proving game.
