UC center Deyshawn Bond is walking around and will practice., says Tuberville. But Dominic Mainello will start.

Tuberville, likes rival games, keep players focused on game.

Tuberville says he wants to play all three quarterbacks again this week.

Geraci-Lloyd punting derby could still depend on who is better in practice, Tuberville said. #Bearcats

RE: Battle for the Victory Bell news and notes
Best way to play all three quarterback is to have a huge lead in the forth quarter. Gunner sits while the others get their reps in. Outside of special play or two there is no good reason to put someone else behind center while the game is still on the line.

I still believe that playing Munchie last week during the second quarter was a mistake the almost changed the outcome of the game. It signaled to the players and fans that the coaches thought the game was over.

RE: Battle for the Victory Bell news and notes
Yeah I was thinking he's hoping for and expecting a blowout so he can play all 3 QB's.

Totally agree with bearcatlaw on playing Munchie last week in the first half. I would hope we wont see that again this season. With the way the defense looked (which I'm hoping was just first game jitters) I wouldn't feel safe with any kind of a lead, no matter how big before halftime, where you begin pulling the starters.

And great great news on Bond. I thought for sure that was an ACL injury and he was done for the season with the way he was walking on crutches heading back to the locker room.

i can see Evans getting in on some red zone run pass option stuff. He reminds me a lot of Pat White, running wise. if he can pass it some, it could make for an interesting package.

So now it's Munchie's fault that Toledo made a comeback in the 3rd quarter? Good grief, give me a break.
People can whine all they want about Munchie playing when he does, but from what I understand, he's only going in when the 1st string OL is playing. They will not put him in with a bunch of RS freshmen OLs and risk getting him hurt again.

I sure they probably will win a game. Some day. When was their last win anyway, 2012? They're due sometime in the next decade.

They can lose those too. Miami is the only team that I can remember that lost a national championship after leading with a minute to go in the final game.

Miami's best season in the last 8 years happened to coincide with UC's worst...yet it was the Isiah Peed show and a 45-3 *** kicking at the half. That is my favorite Victory Bell memory.

I don't have any favorite Victory Bell memories. It's a pointless series that's below us.

This game has really lost my interest. The only thing I like about it is it's a local team and travel is cheap. That's it. I wish our true rivalry game was UofL...but conference alignment has destroyed that one.

As important as getting all 3 QBs reps, we need to get ready for O$U. Gunnar needs as many reps as he can get. This is O$U's bye week and they'll be rested and ready for us.

I hope CTT and crew understand this is our best chance to win in Columbus and I'd hate to lose just because he wants to give everyone reps.

Need to pass them in the all time series. We have won what, eight in a row? Need to take number 9 this weekend. Hopefully, hang 50 or 60 on them by half. 100-0 would be my personal goal.

And 9/10, the only loss being in Dantonio's 2nd season rebuilding year.

Apparently it isn't, since our AD keeps infinitely renewing the series.
