Beat writers
A couple of the C-USA beat writers I've been following on Twitter have changed beats, MTSU being the most recent. Anyone know where I can find a current list? Thanks.

MT's is now Will Borthick, since Gannet moved Sparky up to West End to be the beat writer for Vandy and their 6 fans.

sorry....not tryna be a jerk but i'd NEVER send twitter traffic his way.

he's a ga southern grad and that's the only school he gives a crap about.

he can't write a single article without a backhanded swipe. he's actually smooth enough he could give a shoulder shrug and 'who me' if you pointed it out.

you have to follow him over time to see his passive/agressive swipes for what they are.

RE: Beat writers
Harry Minium is the ODU beat writer for the Virginian-Pilot. He does a fantastic job, not only with ODU sports, but with CUSA-related stories too. He has both a blog and regular stories (basically daily). His coverage can be found on the VP Sports page at:

http://hamptonroads.com/pilot/sports

The Pilot has a firewall on it's stories, but that can be handled in the usual way.

Harry does a great job. After the ODU - Rice game he's attending UH vs. UNLV in preparation for a story about how they got their new stadium (which UTSA soiled on opening day) built. This is of particlar interest to ODU fans as we are in the early stages of the new stadium process.

He also does live chats throughout the year, there was one today, where you can ask him questions. The next one will be before the Marshall game. It's a great opportunity to have questions, that are generally asked on our board, answered.

I met Will at the DNJ tent last week while tailgating before the WKU game.
Very nice young man who was very well spoken. I hope he does a good job for the Muts.
