If The States Of
Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas split and formed a new country, would the capitol be in Georgia or Texas?

I would say Georgia. With the ATL being worlds busiest airport.

That is why I put them as a choice. Texas because of its population.

I am split on the issue. I think ATL is a good choice i also think A city in Texas would be a good choice. With a split like this Texas will be carrying a lot of economic weight.

If this happened i would say the states east of the rockies but west of the Mississippi would also join because they have more in common with the south than northeast or west coast.

Austin has too many liberals, so it couldn't be that city.

Austin has more character than Atlanta. The traffic in Atlanta sucks. Atlanta has better pro sports options than Austin. While Atlanta gets the nod for the airport, Gawd I hate traveling therough the Atlanta Airport.

Its not as bad as you think. But yeah it does have a lot of liberals. They are fun to laugh at.
