I don't know the demographics of the schools involved so I can't say with certainty that this episode was a racist remark... I am merely taking issue with the statement you made. Large, strong hairy men have been compared to monkeys or gorillas for a very long time, regardless of the race of the target. People acting or looking silly have compared to monkeys. Sure, it's insulting... so is u.g.l.y, you ain't got no alibi... but it's not presumed to be racist.

The common belief is that people of all color came from Apes... and obviously those who compared Bush to a monkey didn't do so because of his race... but to imply that he was 'less intelligent'. So if we can't say that Obama is 'less intelligent' by comparing him to a less intelligent species from which we all evolved based on the color of his skin, isn't THAT in and of itself, Racist?

You're only calling Bush a monkey because he's white. If he were black, you wouldn't do it. You and everyone who posted comparisons of Bush to a monkey who wouldn't do that to Obama are racists.
