OT: Yet another CMU player in legal trouble.
Thomas Rawls arrested and indicted on felony charges of theft. This week he. Was suspended indefinitely from the team. He was becoming a standout for the Chips. Earlier this summer two, I believe, CMU players were arrested for possesion and selling mushrooms. This is becoming a commonality for CMU.

Dear Friends,
If Rawls is found to have committed these crimes, or if he his found to be ineligible, remember he is supposed to have completed 43 credit hours the summer before enrolling at Central, couldn't have happened to a better university.

It gets even worse today as another player is dismissed from the team: http://www.hustlebelt.com/2014/9/15/6153...from-team.

WR Flory released following arrest for possesion and a subsequent violation of team rules.

Wow, CMU's going downhill on a scooter. Rawls did look good, so much for that. And now Flory. Can't see them beating Kansas now, and not too many other teams either.

I have a friend who says in years we'll all be following soccer which doesn't seem to have the problems of football, NFL or collegiate.

Something that CMU and WMU fans are figuring out after the stuff they were saying about the Scott/QJones/JJones incident.

Maybe but concussions are getting serious discussion on the soccer side. I see soccer growing in popularity but not overtaking football in the US, basketball internationally seems like a growing sport.

Sam, there are a LOT of glass houses in collegiate football.

If we read the papers from 125 university cities and towns, we might be aghast.

I've heard of Winston's problems at FSU, but do I know of some players in Mississippi who might have similar problems? No, but it doesn't mean there aren't problems there which aren't front page news.
