JMU @ Villanova predictions
Since the Lehigh game , Withers has the onside kick working to perfection. Villanova only gets three possessions .We punt twice and one missed field goal. The Dukes win 56-21. NOT !

RE: JMU @ Villanova predictions
I really wish this game was at the end of the season. We don't have enough time, even if we started on Monday, to revamp our running defense. At best, we are going to need the bye week to do that.

I do think we will be able to put points on the board, but I don't think we will be able to keep them from scoring.

Villanova - 49
JMU - 31

It won't be as bad as some think, but Nova is just the better team right now. This is tough first conference game.

Villanova 35
JMU 24

Madizone is showing the game as well. I will be using this option because I think it's a regional game and the West Coast will not be airing it on cable, I assume.

If we can be more discipline than Villanova, that might be a game changer.

Penality yards:
Villanova
Syracuse: 11-93
Fordham: 11-117

JMU
UMD: 9-102
LEH: 9-70
SFU: 10-90

Where are you seeing it on MadiZone? It's not showing on the JMU schedule page, but that would be nice. Nova twitter seems to indicate they thought it would only be on CSN-Philly and wasn't likely to be picked up regionally anywhere else, including CSN-Mid-Atlantic

If you go to Madizone and click on the Conference tab, then click on the CAA, you will see that it will be shown on CAA.TV. This is most likely a Villanova feed.

RE: JMU @ Villanova predictions
I just checked the Program Guide via my DISH remote control. The JMU-Nova game shows as being televised via Comcast Sports Net Mid Atlantic as well as Comcast Sports Net Chicago. Neither show currently as being televised in HD though often if you surf around near game time they will change it to the HD channel or you can find it on an Alternative (ALT) channel where they are showing it in HD.

I figure that Villanova may be one touchdown worse than Maryland, and we may have progressed slightly on Offense.

That being said I hope I am wrong.

This is a good point. JMU and villanova are both ranked amongst the worst 10 teams in the country for penalties

I'm going with:

VU 61
JMU 10

... with the JMU linebackers walking off due to the physical and mental abuse they are taking from the other team, the fans, and the coaches ( due to the terrible 3-4 ).

The fans? There will be 4k people, 1k of whom are JMU fans. Are you saying 1k rowdy dukes will send them off?
Villanova has some of the worst support in the CAA for their performance. They may beat us, but it wasn't due to the overwhelming atmosphere.

I have seen better high school stadiums then what they have.
