McIntosh Out
Matt McIntosh, who started last week’s game at Northwestern, did not dress. He’s out 4 to 6 weeks with a lower body injury, according to NIU head coach Rod Carey.

It was a pretty good sign he wasn't dressed when he was watching the UNLV game in DeKalb.

I love NIU football as much as anyone, but put some pants on Matty.

You better hope Hare doesn't get injured during the Arkansas game. Matty can mix things up and possibly do OK... but being down to 1 QB isn't a good thing.

Yes, generally losing your starting QB is a bad thing. Thanks for that brilliant comment.

Hey, having 3 competing QBs, and then getting the initial coach-leaning starter injured isn't good walking into a huge physical team's stadium and getting the newly defined starter injured there. It'd go from 3 QB situation to a 1 QB way too quick is all I'm sayin'.

+1. But how about our O-Line...The protection so far this year has been damn good IMO.

RE: McIntosh Out
It's gotta be something in his left calf/leg/ankle. He was wearing a sleeve on it for the NU game. I have to think that's why he was so bad.

If you don't know the extent of someone's injury, it's pretty lame to be dissing them for sitting out.
