The fact one of them STARTED a thread here- is funny.

Enjoy those historic wins over Vanderbilt, Maryland, and the downest Memphis teams...ever.

If seeing fans excited about their home team (fans are people who support a team and a school and a region- get that directional school guy) gets your panties bunched, stay in the basement. And since this got moved to smack- the bets are off.

I've never gone onto another fan bases message board & talked trash. Yes mtsu has beaten us during the most down period in our history, yes our history isn't great, but mtsu kinda sucks balls. I mean really, what has that athletic program ever accomplished of note?

I'm calling Memphis by 21. & anyone on here knows how historically down I've been on our football program. But even I can see the progress.

How you guys were able to stay so close to them is just unfathomable. You're team must be amazing! I would also like to hear about your other great win of the season over the powerful Austin Peay Governors. You guys are obviously on a collision course with the National Championship. I just hope were able to keep the score under a thousand point loss. Please have mercy under on us.

0/10 try harder.

Pretty much like your beat down of Savannah St., which we all know was on course for some sort of championship (weren't they?). Except we didn't allow AP to score on us, so there is that. Take comfort in knowing that is the only Tiger team you'll beat this year!

What an irritating litte fanbase they have.

Its funny, you hear Ole Miss and UT say the same thing about Memphis. Everyone's gotta look down on the next, I guess. I, for one, am content to know that, regardless of the outcome Saturday, MT has owned this series.

It's gotta be tough being the largest school in TN and getting no respect- mtsu, who?

RE: Memphis fans please...
Funny how, after Memphis almost beat UCLA, that Memphis got 4 coaches votes in the Coach's Poll. So, apparently the "almost win" impressed 4 coaches. So, yes, a close win against a Top 20 team can mean something. I think we had a chance to win a couple of times, if we had gone to the long pass instead of running a lot.
