RE: Week 4 win guess total
We're going to win 5 or more.

Southern Miss will be one of those wins.

As an added bonus, for anyone doubting Southern Miss this week...

I would love to have 5 or more but part of me thinks we are due for a bad week finally. I feel like Marshall, UNT and La Tech are gimmies (as is FIU but on the loss side) so of the remaining 3 of USM, MTSU and FAU I'm thinking that we only win 1.....so please prove me wrong come Saturday C-USA

I'm at 5.. the FIU and MTSU game are the only two I don't think we have a shot at.. and MTSU could prove me wrong.

I also get 5 wins. I think USM and FIU lose, the rest - win.
And even USM has a good chance to win their game.

I'm more worried about the FAU game than I am the MT game . I'm going with 4 and a shot at 5.

RE: Week 4 win guess total
I'm going with 4. I think the locks should be Marshall, UNT, LaTech and USM but I think FAU and MTSU could get it done. It's a very real possibility that our record vs the G5 gets a blemish this week.

Of these games, the only one I see as a "gimme-loss" is the FIU/Louisville game. Of course, ON ANY GIVEN SATURDAY, teams can upset the "big boy team", but I haven't seen enough from FIU to convince me they can take out the Cards.

Wyoming/FAU should be fun, as well as MT/Memphis. App State is always dangerous, but I think USM pulls it out! Is there any tv covereage (not a slight. Genuinely interested in watching)?

5-2 is my initial feeling, with Louisville & Wyoming being the losses. MT/Memphis is a tough one to call for me. Memphis has improved & "due" for a victory over MT, I feel. MT has won 5 of the last 6, correct? And it's @ Memphis. Should be a good game, nonetheless.

Lastly, Marshall seems to have the same trend as ECU has in the "WTF loss" in an otherwise great season. Is this the game? How is Akron this year, and what is the series breakdown between the 2 teams?

I say 5-2, but 3-4 could happen as well. AGAIN, none of these thoughts are meant as a "slight" to the teams/conference!

Only 5 out of 6 unfortunately. 6 out of 7 is going to be tough but I think MT +11 is almost free money.

I, too, am worried about our game. Gut says we crush them. Akron has been that team that finds a way against us, however. From Byron's leg in 2002, to the Charlie Frye comeback in 2004, we have had trouble with them. Neither team or staff was part of that voodoo, so I gotta think we win as one team against the other on paper. But I would be far from comfortable calling it a gimmie.

Yep. Sorry. 5 out of 6 was my intention, but big sausage thumbs hit 5 instead of 6! LOL

I feel the same way about our game against UNC this weekend. Gut says we win, but could this be our WTF game? At least I get to watch it @ the NC Outer Banks (beach house for my bro-in-law's bachelor weekend)! What's the series breakdown for Marshall/Akron?

In what world do we live in where any decent team "doesn't have a shot" to beat memphis? Lol. I think MTSU goes there and hands them their ass
