USA Today Coaches Poll Out
ECU getting 35 votes but not in the Top 25, and that's good news to me.

Yes, Tar Heels sneak in at 25. Gives us a shot at 2 ranked teams in a row.

Access Spot
1. ECU 33 Ranking 35votes
2. Marshall 35 25votes
3. Cincy 38 15
4. N. Illi 39 10
5. Memphis 46 2
6.Boisie 47 1

For laughs NCSU receiving 4 votes for Beating GA Southern and ODU in close games and a blowout of USF.

I could see Cincy jumping everyone if they win next week @OSU even if ECU beats UNC due to name recognition. Be the first non-money five ranked.

UC plays Miami Ohio this week, the OSU game it's the week after. ECU has a great chance to knock off another ranked team this week

We play Miami(OH) next week, we play Ohio State the following week, then Memphis and then Miami (FL).

I agree.

How does BYU fit into the post-season selection?

The good news is the inside track to the access bowls is held by the AAC. ECU and Cinci need no help to gain the G5 access bowl berth---they each control their own fate. They just need to keep winning. Their game against one another on Nov 13th could be huge.

Has no effect on us since they are not in a conference. They are either selected for the payoff or playing in the miami bowl

They could take an at large spot into an access bowl, jst not the G5 slot.

That will make our victory over unc that much more important to the overall program and AAC:)

Pulling for the Pirates. You guys seem to be a complete team this year. I really think ECU could have a season just like UCF had last year.

It would be crazy if ECU goes 12-1 with their only loss being to South Carolina too.
